I searched high & low for this saw last year. I finally saw it on on display at a local BORG store and bought the floor model at a discount w/ a *free 2.6 ah battery *(not included w/ the saw but the manager didn't know/notice). I take this w/ me on almost every job because it's so d@mn convenient. Every so often I need to make some miter/bevel cuts on baseboard, quarter round or furring strips & smaller lumber and hate dragging out the 10" slider for a few minor cuts. The saw performs like a little champ, w/ 4,500 no-load RPMs & decent battery life (w/ the 2.6ah lithium battery). It doesn't have great cut capacity (1-1/2" h x 4-1/4" w) but it's become an indispensable addition to the handyman arm of my business. In all fairness, I did add a Freud 60 tooth blade, aligned the blade, fence & laser, added spacers to raise the fence 1/2" for added height capacity and use a cordless vac attached to the dust port, so my 5 star rating reflects the way it's performed as a "customized" tool.
